What makes it different

It is a stat-progression game disguised as a fighting game. You are not expected to beat Impossible on skill alone — you are expected to farm the earlier tiers, spend the upgrades, and come back. Knowing that up front saves a lot of frustration.

Tips that actually help

Buy Health before Strength. A longer fight gives you more punches landed in total than a harder punch you never get to throw.
Circle rather than back away. Retreating in a straight line lets an opponent close and corner you; moving sideways keeps you in punching range while their swing misses.
Replay the tier below the one blocking you. It is faster to farm upgrades on a fight you win reliably than to keep losing the next one.
Punch on the recovery, not the wind-up. Every opponent has a short window after their swing where they cannot block.
Six tiers means the curve is steep at the top. If Impossible is not landing, you are almost certainly two upgrades short rather than playing it wrong.
