Tips that actually help
- Treat ramps as the main way up. A boosted launch clears several platforms at once, while chained normal jumps barely outpace the water.
- Start every long jump from the very edge of a platform. Leaving early wastes the front third of your arc on empty deck.
- Only detour for coins while you have a clear gap above the water. Once it is close behind you, climb straight and skip the pickups.
- In two-player runs, let whoever is higher scout the next ramp and call it out, rather than both of you testing the same risky ledge.
- A fall is not the end of the run, only lost height, so recover immediately instead of hesitating. Standing still to re-plan costs more than a bad jump does.
