Obby Tsunami Runner — Play Online Free
Obby Tsunami Runner drops you onto a stretched-out obstacle course with a wall of water eating the map behind you. There is no health bar and no checkpoint mercy — the wave is the timer, and every second you spend lining up a jump is a second it gains. Runs are short, usually 40 seconds to three minutes, and the whole thing loads in a browser tab with no account and no install.
What makes it different
Most obby games let you fail a jump and retry from the last platform. This one takes that away. The tsunami turns a platforming course into a pacing problem: you are constantly choosing between the safe route that costs half a second and the risky gap that saves it. That single change is why runs stay tense even after you have memorised the layout.

Tips that actually help
- Keep the camera pointed slightly down. The default angle hides the near edge of the next platform, which is exactly the information you need when you are jumping blind at speed.
- Jump at the very front edge of a platform, not the middle. A running jump from the lip clears roughly a third more distance, and the wave punishes short hops far more than it punishes missed style points.
- When two routes split, take the lower one on your first few runs. Falling one level down usually costs you a second; falling off a high route usually costs you the run.
- Do not stop to look at other players. In multiplayer lobbies the crowd bunches at the same obstacle, and the safest line is almost always the one nobody is standing on.
- Unlockable trails and characters are cosmetic. They do not change speed or jump height, so do not grind for a skin expecting it to make the wave easier.
FAQ
- Is Obby Tsunami Runner free to play?
- Yes. It runs in the browser with no purchase, no account, and no download. It is ad-supported, so you will see a short ad before the game loads.
- Can I play it with friends?
- Yes — it is a multiplayer lobby, so other players appear in the same run. You cannot currently create a private room, so you and a friend need to join at the same time to land in the same lobby.
- Does it work on a phone?
- It loads on mobile browsers, but the controls are built around keyboard movement plus mouse camera. On a phone the camera is the weak point, so expect shorter runs than on a laptop.
- Who is Tung-Tung-Tung Sahur?
- A character from the Italian brainrot meme wave that became popular through short-form video. Here it is one of the unlockable skins — purely cosmetic.
- Why does the wave sometimes catch me on a flat section?
- The tsunami accelerates over the course of a run rather than moving at a constant speed. Flat stretches late in a run give you less slack than identical stretches at the start.
