Save The Capybara — Play Free Online
A capybara sits in an open field while bees close in from several directions, and your only tool is a pen. You sketch walls, lids and little bunkers around it, then watch physics decide whether the shape you drew actually holds. Every stage is settled by a short survival countdown: keep the animal untouched until it runs out and you move on. The drawing is not decorative. Lines you commit become solid objects with weight, so a lopsided roof collapses and a wall drawn too thin gets shoved aside on first contact. It plays quick and loose, closer to a doodle puzzle than a reflex test.
What makes it different
Most drawing puzzles treat your stroke as a static barrier that simply exists once placed. Here each line becomes a rigid body with mass, so it can tip, slide or fall onto the very thing it was meant to shield. That turns the level into a structural problem rather than a tracing one: you are not asked to seal the capybara in, you are asked to build something that keeps standing while bees knock against it for the whole countdown. Ink is generous, which removes the usual resource pressure and puts all the difficulty into shape and balance instead.
Controls
| Mouse drag / left click | Draw a line, wall or enclosure anywhere on the field |
| Touch and drag | Same drawing input on phones and tablets |
Tips that actually help
- Draw a closed shape rather than a flat lid. Bees route around a single overhead barrier, so an open side just redirects them instead of stopping them.
- Give walls visible thickness. A hairline stroke behaves like a thin, light object and gets pushed out of position by the first impact.
- Anchor structures to the ground or to existing scenery. Anything drawn floating in mid-air falls, and it can land on the capybara you are trying to protect.
- Favour squat, wide shelters over tall ones. A tall wall has a high centre of mass and topples from a single nudge, while a low dome absorbs hits without shifting.
- Look at which side the bees come from before you start drawing. One well-placed barrier on the approach side usually holds better than a rushed enclosure on all four.
FAQ
- Is Save The Capybara free to play?
- Yes. It loads directly in the browser on this page with no download, no install and no account.
- What controls does it use?
- Drawing only. A mouse or trackpad on desktop, or a finger on a touchscreen. There are no keyboard inputs to learn.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. Drawing with a finger works the same way as drawing with a mouse, though a larger screen makes it easier to place thin strokes precisely.
- How long does one level take?
- Each stage is decided by a short survival countdown, so a single attempt lasts well under a minute and a failed run restarts straight away.
- Is it suitable for younger players?
- Yes. The bees are avoided rather than fought, and there is no combat, blood or chat feature in the game.
